We provide a highly experienced and specialised valuation service covering rural and agricultural property across the north and northeast of Scotland.

We work in accordance with the stringent standards set down and regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our team are all fully qualified chartered surveyors and RICS Registered Valuers, demonstrating competence, independence, and compliance with the Red Book (RICS Valuation Standards).
We are well placed to provide considered opinions of value which are informed by the property sales that we are involved with. We maintain a comprehensive database of market evidence which covers a wide range of property types and which dates back several decades. Rural properties are diverse and no two are ever the same, however we can draw on this wealth of knowledge and deliver methodical opinions of value even where the property is unique or unusual – as rural properties often are.
We undertake Red Book valuations for a range of purposes including:

Taxation (including Capital Gains Tax)

Compulsory purchase
Agricultural tenancy negotiations
There are occasionally times when a full 'Red Book' report is not appropriate for your requirements. Valuation reports which are excepted to the Red Book (VPS 1-5) tend to be in a short format (though still prepared to exacting standards) and can be cost effective, provided they are used for internal purposes and can be reported without liability.
