  • Grade 4(2) arable land currently under grass

  • Fencing and gates in place

  • Private water supply present

  • Former croft site

The subjects comprise a single arable field currently used for the cutting of grass and grazing of livestock. According to the Macaulay Institute for Soil Research the land is classified as grade 4(2) land.
The land is bounded by a public road on the northern and western boundaries, with a good sized road-side access to the field on its western side. The land is generally well fenced with stock-proof post & wire fencing and galvanized gates.
The field is understood to have formerly been a part of a croft, with buildings being depicted on the early Ordnance Survey maps in the western portion of the field, close to the entrance. The small area of trees present today is understood to be a remnant of that settlement.
